These two-day training courses on energy storage are intended for professionals wishing to acquire a comprehensive overview of grid-connected energy storage (Arnhem &  Dubai course) or energy storage systems (London course) and to have the latest technology, market conditions and issues clearly explained. Energy markets in relation to energy storage, the role of storage in providing flexibility to solve intermittency issues in the grid, business models, performance indicators, warranties, safety, risks and risk mitigation are covered.

Various locations  
This course is offered as open enrolment session at various locations; Arnhem (the Netherlands), Dubai (UAE) and London (UK). General content of the courses will be the same, but country specific information can be included, so please check the different course leaflets for more detailed information on the exact course content. To register, please refer to the different registration forms.

Dubai course-specific information  
In the Dubai course DNV GL will provide you with general topics such as the energy storage landscape, designing energy storage systems and the role of energy storage. On the second course day the afternoon session will focus on enabling energy storage in the GCC countries, delving deeper into the role of the governments, regulatory drivers and risks. International examples and lessons learned will be shared as well. 

The next course in Dubai, UAE, is scheduled for March or April 2018 (on a date yet to be determined). 

Arnhem course-specific information 

In the Arnhem course DNV GL will provide you with international examples. Part of the second course day will be in two parallel sessions, one delving deeper into business cases and markets, the other focusing more on the technical side of ES systems and their safety aspects. Both topics will be introduced in advance in the plenary sessions.

The next course is scheduled  for January 29 & 30, 2018 in Arnhem, the Netherlands.

London course-specific information
The London course will cover the same general topics as the Arnhem course, however, DNV GL will provide you with UK specific examples.

The topics covered during the course will be supported by case studies and examples. DNV GL will provide you with examples and present our view on best practices for energy storage using our industry supported GRIDSTOR methodology.
