This year’s agenda places Edition 2 at the heart of discussions. Whether you are applying IEC 61850 within legacy or new substations or more extensively across the wider smart grid, you must prepare for the implications of a multi-edition multi-vendor environment on your IEC 61850 engineering, testing, operations and maintenance procedures.

DNV GL's Bas Mulder will present on how to improve multi-vendor IEC 61850 engineering? In a multi-vendor substation automation solution engineering tools are required to configure the IEC 61850 system. Conformance testing of SCL engineering tools improves the overall engineering quality & proves correct exchange of SCL files between different vendors.

DNV GL Live Demo Lab

During this interactive meeting, we will present you with the latest version of UniGrid, the recently released next generation Substation Automation Verification Software. With this self-service conformance testing suite we enable rapid in-house IEC 61850 verification, saving you time and money, and allowing you to prepare for the official conformance testing at the IEC 61850 Level A lab in DNV GL.

During this demonstration our experts will show you how to setup and start a conformance test and how to work with their user-friendly but extremely powerful script engine.
Besides the UniGrid test suite you may also be interested in our Substation configuration language (SCL) testing service and our PRP & HSR functional and performance test offering for next generation Ethernet switches and substation automation IEDs.With SCL we provide you with test procedures for substation engineering and device configuration tools to comply with edition 2 of IEC 61850 for open communication and interoperability with other vendors. IEC 62439 PRP & HSR functional and performance testing for Ethernet switches and IEDs enables utilities to select high performing network components for seamless failover in your substation network. There will plenty of time for questions, customized demonstrations and discussion. Request your 1:1 demonstration by emailing registration@phoenix-forums.com in advance of the conference, as there are a limited number of places available.
